Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif will arrive here Thursday (today) for consultations with Pakistani leadership amid rising tension between Tehran and Washington.
Diplomatic sources said that Zarif's visit to Pakistan is continuation of his regional outreach in the wake of rising tension between Iran and the United States (US) in which he would exchange views with Pakistani leadership on the latest situation.
They said that the Iranian foreign minister will hold talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on issues of mutual interest, regional security situation and the Iran-US standoff.
