Pashtoon Garri and Farooq Club entered into the final of the Ramazan Floodlight Volleyball Championship being played here at Taru Jabba ground on Friday. The final will be played on Saturday with Director General Sports Asfandiyar Khan Khattak will grace the occasion as chief guest. Ex-Director Youth Arshad Hussain, Deputy Director Sports Aziz Ullah Khan were also invited to witness the grand final.
In the first match Pashtoon Garri Club of District Nowshera faced tough resistance against Maaz Club of Urmar village and were stretched to five sets battle lasted for one hour and 34 minutes. Pashtoon Garri failed to click in the first set won by Maaz Club Urmar by 23-25. When the two teams were tied 2-2, it was the fifth set in which Farooq Club raced up to victory at 25-23. Thus both Farooq Club and Pashtoon Garri clubs moved to the final to be played on Saturday.
