Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (RA): CM orders foolproof security arrangements

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed to arrange foolproof security across the province on the eve of Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (RA). While passing directions to provincial cabinet committee for law and order, the chief minister said that strict actions should be taken in order to ensure the life and property of the public and to maintain law and order situation. He said that law enforcing agencies need to stay alert and strict monitoring of the processions should be ensured as well as devised a security plan to be implemented at any cost.
He said that our only preference is the maintenance of law and order in the region and necessary resources to be utilized for this purpose. Furthermore, he added that police officers should stay in the field and made officials to perform their duties vigilantly in order to foil nefarious designs of anti-state elements and keep an eye on their activities.
He directed that all departments should keep a close coordination in order to display their duties and comprehensive monitoring mechanism should be devised to ensure proper security arrangements.
