On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,861.
The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.736 billion and the number of lots traded 8,684.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 2.253 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.668 billion, DJ PKR 907.348 million, WTI crude oil PKR 726.380 million, gold PKR 604.201 million, SP500 PKR 335.275 million, platinum PKR 115.311 million, silver PKR 43.723 million, copper PKR 29.696 million, Palladium PKR 20.085 million, Brent crude oil PKR 16.720 million and natural gas PKR 15.967 million.
In agriculture commodities 24 lots of cotton valued at PKR 12.342 million and 3 lots of wheat valued at PKR 10.771 million were traded.
