US nationals allowed multiple entry visas up to five years

Pakistan has allowed granting of multiple entry visas to the US nationals up to five years with a maximum stay of three months with a view to encouraging tourism. A Foreign Office letter addressed to the US Embassy in Islamabad has conveyed that the decision has been taken in line with the policy to encourage tourism.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan presents its complements to the Embassy of United States of America and, with reference of the Embassy's query regarding duration of visit/tourist visas for US nationals, has the honour to state that the government of Pakistan, in line with the policy to encourage tourism, has allowed granting of multiple visas entry visas to US nationals up to five years with a maximum stay of three months," the letter stated.
