Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with usual fervour in Sialkot, Daska, Pasrur, Zafarwal, Sambrial and Ugoki areas of Sialkot district. On this occasion strict security measures were adopted by the district administration for maintaining law and order in the district. Similarly, the special traffic arrangements were also made for ensuring smooth flow of traffic in busy roads of the city.
Religious leaders and Ulema while addressing the Eid congregations stressed upon the faithful to mould their lives in accordance with the tenet of Islam and golden teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) - the greatest educator to the mankind for getting rid of multifarious problems and difficulties.

They urged upon the faithful that in order to please Almighty Allah, Eid delights should be shared with poor, orphans, needy persons and widows as well as keep in mind the miseries Internally Displaced persons (IDPs).
