The Law and Justice Division (L&JD) has been allocated Rs 1,340.225 million for ongoing and new schemes for the FY 2019-20. The allocations for different ongoing projects included automation of federal court located at Federal Courts Complex, Islamabad, Rs 34.17 million; construction of additional Block (West) in Judicial & Administration Complex at Mauve Area, Islamabad, Rs 11 million; construction of camp office for Federal Shariat Court at Peshawar, Rs 35 million; construction of Federal Courts Complex Tribunal at Lahore, Rs 89.86 million; construction of Federal Court Complex Tribunal, Peshawar, Rs 25 million; construction of Islamabad High Court, Rs 655.961 million; construction of Supreme Court Branch Registry at Karachi, Rs 20 million; Public Awareness of Advocacy about Dispute Resolution Mechanism of FTO, Rs 29.59 million; strengthening of institutional capacity of Ministry of Law and Justice, Islamabad, Rs 4.010 million; and strengthening the ombudsman system of administrative Justice and upgrade/expansion of online complaint management information system, Rs 35.593.
For the new scheme including construction of Sessions Complex (East & West) in Mauve Area, Islamabad, an amount of Rs 400 million has been allocated.
