CS orders repair of animal enclosures

Punjab Chief Secretary Yousaf Naseem Khokhar on Tuesday sought a report from the secretary forest, wildlife and fisheries about dilapidated condition of some animal enclosures in Jallo Wildlife Park. Taking notice of social media reports about poor condition of some animal enclosures in Jallo Wildlife Park, the chief secretary directed to complete the repair work of enclosures at the earliest. He said the promotion of tourism and recreational activities are among priorities of the government and practical steps are being taken for this purpose. He also issued instructions for improving facilities at Jallo Wildlife Park.
