Provincial minister for health Dr Yasmin Rashid has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Paediatric Unit-II here at Lahore General Hospital (LGH). The minister also inaugurated 15-bed private room ward. She disclosed that Rs 2000 will be charged from paying patients of private room in general hospital. She visited different departments and wards of the hospital and inquired about the well being of patients.
Talking to media on the occasion, Dr Yasmin Rashid said that more than 150 beds have been increased in gynea, paediatric ward and labour room in the LGH. She also appreciated the efforts of Principal Professor Dr Muhammad Tayyab and MS Dr Mehmood Salah-ud-Din for establishing Paediatric Unit-II. Sahiwal DHQ teaching hospital is now attached with Children Hospital Lahore and from now onward, every serious case of Sahiwal DHQ teaching hospital will be referred to Children Hospital Lahore.
