Members of the Punjab Assembly belonging to the Gujranwala Division met Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, here on Friday and held a detailed discussion on various matters including the solution of public problems and fulfillment of basic necessities of life of the people through best service delivery. The MPAs apprised the Chief Minister about the problems of their constituencies and other issues and the Chief Minister issued on-the-spot instructions for their solution. Punjab will achieve the goal of durable development under your leadership and the people will be prosperous, the MPAs told the CM.
The CM Usman Buzdar announced to start visiting every district of the province after the budget session to personally monitor the state of development schemes. "The office of Chief Ministers is not a position of enjoying but a great responsibility and public service is my mission and core agenda," he said, adding: "Now the time to show off is over and the PTI government has focused on the social sector for ensuring genuine prosperity of the people."
The CM announced to set up stadium in every tehsil for promoting sports. Funds will be issued in consultations with the Assembly members for providing clean drinking water and schemes relating to the provision of healthcare and education. Resources will also be arranged for repair and maintenance of roads in Gujranwala division, he added.
He said the government has initiated indiscriminate action against the powerful land grabbers and brought them to the net of law. He announced to set up 115 new arazi centers to solved public complaints and said that these centers will be made functional by December in different areas of the province. These centers will facilitate the people and the establishment of mobile arazi centers will also be arranged, he added.
He said that CCTV cameras will be installed in Sialkot, Mianwali and Rahim Yar Khan and every possible step will be taken for the protection of life and property of the people. He said the crusade of Prime Minister Imran Khan against corruption is the voice of every Pakistani as he has exposed the gigantic idols of corruptions.
The Assembly members paid tributes to the services of CM for the province and said that he is serving the people with dedication and commitment. Provincial Ministers Muhammad Akhlaq, Syed Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah, Bao Muhammad Rizwan, Advisor Aun Ch., Chief Whip in Punjab Assembly Syed Abbas Ali Shah, Chief Secretary, ACS, IG Police, SMBR, secretaries of concerned departments, Commissioner and RPO Gujranwala, DCs and DPOs of Gujranwala, MB Din, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Narowal and Sialkot also attended the meeting.
