Selling of government properties: PC invites EoI for appointment of financial advisor
The Privatisation Commission has invited expression of interest (EoI) for appointment of financial advisor for selling the government properties. The Commission has identified as many as 32 properties owned by various federal ministries and attached departments. The properties displayed on the website of the Privatisation Commission are owned by Pakistan Post, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation), Commerce Division, Ministry of Industries, Aviation Division, Revenue Division, Textile Division, Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) Islamabad, and Ministry of Water Resources. The Privatisation Commission intends to hire a real estate advisory services provider/ consortium including a law firm and a valuer as subcontractor for sale of the properties. In the terms of reference (TORs), the advisory services will include review of legal regulatory framework applicable to each property; detailed due diligence and valuation of the properties; preparation and implementation of marketing strategy/ plan for sale of these properties and preparation of bidding documents, solicitation of bids and sale of properties to the successful bidders. The last date for the submission of EOI is July 2, 2019.
