The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Saturday issued instructions to the field formations to facilitate persons intending to file declarations under the Assets Declaration Scheme 2019. The FBR has issued instructions to the Large Taxpayer Units and Regional Tax Offices here on Saturday.
The FBR has also issued instructions to the Large Taxpayer Units and Regional Tax Offices that the field offices should remain open till 11:00pm on Sunday (June 30) to facilitate payment of duties and taxes on June 30.
Meanwhile, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shabbar Zaidi categorically said on Saturday that the government would not extend the last date for filing of declarations under the Assets Declaration Scheme 2019 and June 30 is the final date.
In a message to the media here Saturday, the FBR chairman said that the government is not considering any extension in date for filing of declarations under the Assets Declaration Scheme 2019, he added. The FBR chairman has also appealed to the people to avail the facility of the Assets Declaration Scheme 2019.
