On special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, Dolphin Force has been deployed in Murree on Sunday, who started patrolling in streets in order to ensure safety of citizens and tourists.
The Chief Minister has passed on directions to Inspector General Police for deployment of Dolphin Force there last day apropos to which immediate action has been taken and force has been deployed by today which has started patrolling there. Dolphin Force will take prompt action against criminals and will also perform duty to minimize street crimes.
The Chief Minister said that deployment of Dolphin Force will increase the feeling of protection in tourists and citizens. He assured that they will provide maximum facilities to tourists. Taking notice of the complaints of overcharging and substandard eateries CM has directed administration to respond to public complaints swiftly and overcome their grievances by taking stern action against such elements.
He directed to launch operation against these elements without any discrimination. There will be action against the concerned officer if any complaint regarding overcharging is received onwards, he added. He said that it is the responsibility of administration to ensure the sale of standard items of food and drinking, so take action against violators and send report to Chief Minister Office.
While passing o directions to improve Traffic system in Murree, CM said that a comprehensive plan to be set up and executed in order to ensure smooth flow of Traffic in Murree and it will not only facilitate tourists but will also be compensation for the miseries of citizens. He said that shortage of parking area is a chronic issue of Murree and directed further to devise a permanent solution for it as he will not tolerate any complaint from tourists in this regard. Sign boards for parking and notified fee to be installed at prominent places. He said that administration should take measures to bring fares at justified level by having a liaison with hotel owners.
