Decision to raise metro bus fares withdrawn

The Punjab government has withdrawn the decision of increase in metro bus fare and the passengers would continue to pay Rs 20 as fare.
The provincial government had increased fare by Rs 10 in the annual budget for 2018-19 and linked it with the revenue generated out of advertisements on the route of metro bus. The government would chalk out modalities for revenue generation through advertisements.
