On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,989. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 10.325 billion and the number of lots traded 12,486.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 3.384 billion followed by Gold PKR 2.819 billion, SP500 PKR 1.598 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.374 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 586.861 million, silver PKR 228.699 million, DJ PKR 165.294 million, platinum PKR 89.413 million, copper PKR 43.986 million, natural gas PKR 31.751 million and Brent crude oil PKR 1.993 million. In agriculture commodities 4 lots of cotton valued at PKR 2.133 million were traded.
