District administration Peshawar has arrested 12 persons from various localities Kohat Road and GT Road in crackdown against the use of CNG cylinders in restaurants and tandoors here on Sunday. The district administration in wake of tragic incidents of cylinder blasts has banned the use of CNG cylinders in restaurants and shops and stern action is taken against the violators.
In this connection, on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar Mohammad Ali Asghar, the Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Town-IV, Asif Iqbal checked different restaurants, tandoors and other shops while AAC Mina Zahir carried out similar checking on GT Road and arrested 12 persons for using CNG cylinder as fuel.
