This is apropos a Business Recorder editorial "Violent clash near Headingley stadium" carried by the newspaper on Sunday. It has concluded its argument in a highly impressive manner: "Being a contender for World Cup-2019 the Afghan cricket team was a new dawn of hope for the traumatized people of Afghanistan who have seen nothing but war and turmoil for nearly half a century. It is quite unfortunate that Afghan nation's budding cricket potential has been hijacked by some paid agents."
It is India which is determined to achieve its goal of widening gulf between Afghanistan and Pakistan in order to carry out its sinister anti-Islamabad plans. India's growing unhealthy involvement in Afghanistan is extremely dangerous for peace in the region.
