Showing solidarity with the All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran (APAT) on their strike call, the Lahore Division Sarafa and Jewelers Association (LDSJA) has also announced to observe a complete shutter down on July 13 against the imposition of 'unjustified' additional taxes on traders in the federal budget 2019-20.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, LDSJA president Shahzada Muhammad Khalil said keeping in view the decision of APAT to observe a complete shutter down strike on July 13, all the sarafa markets in Lahore will remain closed. He said they reject the federal budget and demand from the government to immediately address the issues of trading community.
