ICRC Pakistan to hold 'Bharosa Karein' campaign

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Pakistan has announced to organise a media campaign in July 2019 with the title "Bharosa Karein". An ICRC official told Business Recorder on Tuesday that the campaign is aimed at focusing on public sensitization on violence happening inside hospitals. She said that statistics indicate that emergency departments of the hospitals account as the sites for the highest frequency of violence against health care, usually perpetrated by patients' attendants, patients and the public. Initially, the campaign will be launched in Karachi, she added.
