On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,069. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 7.655 billion and the number of lots traded 9,239. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 2.765 billion followed by DJ PKR 1.387 billion, gold PKR 1.003 billion, SP500 PKR 973.980 million, WTI crude oil PKR 774.829 million, currencies through COTS PKR 358.609 million, platinum PKR 199.071 million, silver PKR 89.076 million, copper PKR 83.654 million, natural gas PKR 19.265 million and Brent crude oil PKR 1.491 million.
In agriculture 4 lots of wheat valued at PKR 16.495 million and 12 lots of cotton valued at PKR 6.102 million were traded.
