The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation, University of Karachi and Positive Impact on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding on programmes for continuous professional development for pharmaceutical sector. The KU ORIC director Professor Dr Aliya Rehman and Tanvir Ahmed from Positive Impact, United Kingdom, inked the documents after discussing and agreeing on bilateral roles and responsibilities.
Under the MoU, a board of advisers will serve as development committee to oversee the program. The MoU aims at developing projects to provide a platform to up-skill the pharmaceutical professional with international qualifications through international collaboration. As per it, internationally-accredited and recognised training will be provided to the local professionals. The Positive Impact will bring transferable skills and expertise from UK to enhance the competency of professionals with trending expectations of employees.
The MoU aims to provide platform for professionals to become competent for career opportunities as per international standard and empower professionals with skills to achieve the career goals and organisational targets. The Positive Impact will also provide platform to KU to develop the industry through continuous education using latest engagement and development techniques.
