I am pleased to learn that the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) is organizing 7th FPCCI Achievement Awards to acknowledge the successes and contributions of leading business persons and organizations. It is indeed important to acknowledge the services of members of the business community.
I strongly believe that Pakistan has a tremendous economic potential, which needs to be tapped in an effective manner. Close coordination between public and the private sectors is vital for the growth and development of the national economy. Involvement of the business community helps in formulation effective and implementable policies. I urge the business community to play its role in the documentation of our economy and collection of taxes. We cannot join the ranks of successful and developed economies without collection of sufficient revenue.
I would like to extend my appreciation to the FPCCI for its endeavors to promote activities relating to trade, business and industry in the country. I hope it will continue its efforts with similar zeal and spirit. I would also like FPCCI to focus on encouraging young and women entrepreneurs in the country. I am confident that the conferment of awards and public recognition of high achievers will motivate other individuals and organizations to use their creativity and skills to achieve even higher goals.
In the end, I once again appreciate the efforts of the President and Office Bearers of FPCCI on holding such remarkable event. I also congratulate all the award winners and wish them success in their future endeavors.
