KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday filed a reference in Accountability Court against former deputy commissioner Malir and 12 other accused for allotting 27 plots illegally in Scheme no 31 and 33.
NAB claimed that former DC Malir Qazi Jan Muhammad, former Mukhtiarkar Abdul Latif, Nazar Amin and Iqbal Awan had allegedly allotted 27 plots illegally from tow schemes and they also attempted corruption of Rs. 3.25 billion.
The accused also gave loss of Rs. 2.5 billion to national exchequer by illegal allotment of plots and they divided RS. 7.5 million amongst each other in connivance with builder mafia.
The NAB also said that three other accused are absconder in the case.
