Opposition leader and PML-N President Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif urged the people to struggle for the removal of Imran Khan Niazi from the political scene to bring back prosperity in the country. He was addressing a joint rally of opposition parties to mark first anniversary of the general elections of 2018 as "Youm-e-Siah" Black Day here Wednesday.
He said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was put into jail for serving masses and hoped that Niazi would be accountable soon for price hike, unemployment and worst economy. He said that policies of the government have been forcing people to commit suicide. He blamed NAB and the government for politically victimizing the opposition members in the name of accountability.
He hoped that the masses would bring back Mian Nawaz Sharif as they (masses) loved him. He said the PTI government is creating hurdles in the development projects initiated by the PML-N government and said Orange Line Train Project would be successful despite the ulterior designs of the present government.
He urged the masses to stand for future generations. The Lahore High Court also issued directions to the district government and police to implement the court order regarding ban on processions and protest on the Mall Road.
