The country's total liquid foreign exchange reserves declined by $387 million during last week. According to weekly foreign exchange reserves report issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Thursday, the total liquid foreign exchange reserves held by the country stood at $14.862 billion as on July 19, 2019 down from $ 15.249 billion on July 12, 2019. During the week under review, the SBP's reserves decreased to $7.612 billion, due to external debt servicing and other official payments. Reserves held by banks slightly increased by $2.6 million to $7.25 billion by the end of the last week.
