According to a statement, he said teachings of peace given by Bohra community spiritual leader are very valuable. The governor also spoke on Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to US.
"After passage of decades, Prime Minister of Pakistan was given due respect during his visit to the US," Imran Ismail said, answering a question. He cited that Donald Trump recognised Pakistan as a smart nation due to strong arguments of Prime Minister Imran Khan while the latter also strongly advocated the issue of Kashmir and also raised Dr Afia's matter.
To another question, he said that PM's maiden visit to Washington DC reminded some elements their mistakes because in the past prime ministers used to forget discussing important issues such as Kashmir and Dr Afia in such visits.
"The Prime Minister made it clear to the US that Pakistan doesn't need financial assistance but Pakistan eyes enhanced trade with US," said the governor.
