Chairman of Amn Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah said that performance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's government remained dismal during last one year. He said this at the launch of a report compiled by the party, here on Sunday. He said the elections 2018 was the biggest dilemma for the government and the opposition. Faiq Shah said the government indeed won hearts of general public by framing foreign policy as per their expectations; but, the masses are facing with enormous difficulties due to economic turmoil and political instability in the country.
The party chairman said the ratio of unemployment, poverty and inflation was going high in the country, whereas no steps were being taken in health and education sectors and also regarding the provision of speedy justice to the masses during last one year. He said the elected representatives had focused on vested interest instead of making legislation as they seemed to have remained non-serious towards resolution of the masses issues.
The ATP chief said the parliament runs at public money, but it failed to make proper and effective legislation for them. For that, he held both the incumbent government and the opposition responsible. He said the dream of new province had not come true so far. He suggested that the PTI should constitute a policy-making board. Faiq said the county gained due respect at global level owing to unanimous policy of government, military and judiciary.
Faiq Shah said consensus among all institutions could bring about economic revolution in the country. He said the Amn Taraqqi Party had already given a roadmap for development, economic prosperity and steering the country out of current quagmire of problems. He urged the government to immediately rid the trading community of fear of National Accountability Bureau and give them due respect.
