Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has said that the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is not involved in any horse trading to save Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and all votes "consciously" casted by senators will turn into his favour.
The governor was speaking at the "paralysis, fatal disease and its treatment" seminar here on Sunday. Noted doctors Shehzad Anwar and Waqar Ashraf were also present on the occasion.
Responding to the media queries after the seminar, the governor claimed that the opposition parties are free to hold protests and public gatherings and no hindrance will be created in their way. "No confidence move against the chairman senate is the opposition right and we are not involved in any horse trading to save him," said Ch Sarwar in response to a query. All votes "consciously" casted by senators will turn in Sanjarni's favour, he added.
"Institutions and political parties are on the same page against terrorism and terrorist attacks on Pak Afghan border is an attack on peace. We will not let terrorists destabilize Pakistan; we are standing with our armed forces."
