The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Broadcast and Media, Firdous Ashiq Awan, retorted to Maryam Nawaz of the PML-N's allegations, saying that the politicians plundered the poor to make Avenfield properties.
She said those looted people and pillaged national exchequer were exposed and their deeds came to fore. She accused Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz of ailing political system that plague the country today.
Firdous Ashiq questioned Maryam Nawaz's conscience with regards to corruption allegations on herself. She tweeted that the vice president of the PML-N had now joined the ranks of his family members of receiving and sending Telegraphic Transfers (TT). She further noted that Maryam was getting telegraphic transfers from the controversial Hill Metals establishment from which she had distanced in the past. She said it is shameful.The special assistant said that all that ails the political system and that plague the country today can be traced to the PML-N.
