Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday strongly condemned use of cluster ammunition along the Line of Control (LoC) by Indian army to deliberately target civilian population, saying it is clear violation of Geneva Convention and international humanitarian law.
Minster for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur said that India cannot achieve its nefarious designs by increasing the number of its occupation troops in the held territory.
He said that India will have to surrender before Kashmiris' passion of freedom, adding India is further deteriorating the situation in occupied Kashmir instead of accepting the US President's offer of mediation on the Kashmir issue.
He said incidents of extra-judicial killings have increased in occupied Kashmir. "We urge the international community to immediately take notice of India's state terrorism in occupied Kashmir," he added.
Chairman Kashmir Committee Syed Fakhar Imam said that India has resorted to cheap tactics in response to positive foreign policy of Pakistan. He said that the reiteration of the offer of mediation by US President Donald Trump is a reflection of diplomatic success of Pakistan.
He said India will have to come to negotiating table for peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, adding India is taking the region to war by committing worst atrocities on innocent Kashmiris.
PTI's chief organiser Saifullah Niazi said that India cannot suppress the Kashmiris' right to self determination through cluster bombing as Kashmir movement is indigenous and the sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir will not go waste.
