JUI-F chief, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has strongly condemned the state sponsored terrorism of Indian army in the occupied Kashmir and said that only a wild animal like person can remain silent on such worst atrocities. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he asked the United Nations, UN Security Council and other international organisations to play their role to stop atrocities against innocent Kashmiris.
He said that the atrocities against the innocent people have reached its peak in the occupied Kashmir, but the world community has become a silent spectator to it, which is condemnable and sorrowful. The Muslim world, he said should play their role in the stoppage of these atrocities. The former chairman, Kashmir committee of the National Assembly said that the whole Pakistani nation is standing by the people of Kashmir at this critical stage.
He said that Indian military by throwing cluster bombs on civilians is violating international laws. Therefore, the international organisations should take notice of it. Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that India must keep in mind that Pakistan is also an atomic power. He said that to hide its atrocities in Kashmir, India is doing the politics of allegations and trying to present itself as victim in the world. He asked India to abandon stubbornness and give the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir.
Other leaders of the JUI-F including Haji Akram Khan Durrani, Maulana Mohammad Amjad Khan and Mohammad Aslam Ghauri also condemned the killing of the innocent Kashmiris by the Indian security forces. They also condemned the Indian aggression on the Line of Control (LoC) and said that India should not consider Pakistan's wish of peace as weakness as the whole nation is standing behind Pakistan army. They said that atrocities on Kashmiris have unveiled the draconian face of India before the world and warned her that in case of any adventure, the Pakistani nation will give her a befitting reply.
