Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) will soon to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to yield benefit of experiences and updated knowledge. This was stated by Engineer Ahmad Hassan, Chairman Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Standing Committee on Research and Development and CPEC.
He said that by signing the MoU with this university we can get benefit from their experiences and knowledge. He further said that along with his team they did research on the World Wide Forest Ratio. He said that Pakistan has a ratio of 2.5 percent forest as compared to other countries, so necessary steps must be taken in this regard.
He said that his effort is to create a panel where all education and research institutes work together to discuss their experiences and gather their authentic facts and information. He said that four projects are in the pipeline with the Higher Education Commission.
Earlier Dr Khurram Tariq appreciated the signing of MoU and suggested that if this ceremony is held in FCCI then PHMA, APTPMA and PTA must be taken onboard. Former President Muzzamil Sultan, Engineer Asim Muneer, Muhammad Amjad Khwaja, Muhammad Din, Tahir Athar Rasool, and Mujtaba Hassan were also present during this meeting.
