RTO II Karachi achieves 46pc growth in tax collection

Regional Tax Office (RTO)-II, Karachi has witnessed 46 percent growth in overall tax collection during July, 2019. According to details, the tax office has collected Rs 9.081 billion on account of income tax in July 2019 as compared to Rs 6.1 billion collected in last preceding month, depicting 49 percent growth.
Similarly, the sales tax collection has witnessed 17 percent growth and the department has collected Rs 714 million in July, 2019 as compared to the collection of Rs 612 million made in July 2018.
