Under the arrangements of divisional administration Kashmir solidarity rally was held here to express the solidarity with the Kashmiri and condemning the Indian illegal action regarding the annexation of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The rally was taken out from the District Council Chowk and culminated at Hilal e Ahmar Chowk which was led by Divisional Commissioner Mehmud Javed Bhatti, Deputy Commissioner Tariq Khan Niazi, CPO Azhar Akram, MPAs Nazat Latif and Firdous Rai.
The officers of different federal and provincial departments, traders and scores of citizens belonging to different walks of life participated in the rally. They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans like Kashmir will be part of Pakistan, War will continue till freedom of Kashmir. The participants also chanted slogans against the India and Prime Minister Moodi for injustice being done with Kashmiris.
Talking to the newsmen, Divisional Commissioner Mehmud Javed Bhatti said that we are with our Kashmiri brethren and will continue our unconditional support to them till their freedom. He strongly condemned the Indian unconstitutional attempt at alternating the demography of Indian occupied Kashmir and demanded India to immediately reverse the wrong steps which jeopardized the peace and stability of the south Asia. He said that world forces should take the notice of sheer violation of human rights in Indian held Kashmir and atrocities committed by Indian Army against innocent Kashmiris. He said that the sun of independence of held Kashmir would soon be arisen and the sacrifices rendered by Kashmiri people would not be go in vain.
Deputy Commissioner Tariq Niazi and CPO Azhar Akram said that the independence of the right of the Kashmiris and they should be given right of self determination. He said that Pakistan would not be completed with out the independence of held Kashmir which is integral part of Pakistan and every citizen of Pakistan stand with his Kashmiri brethren. MPAs Nazar Latif and Firdous Rai condemn the Indian illegal act and said that it is blunted violation of international law and direct contravention of the insulation of the United Nation Security Counsel on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. The said that the present government would follow and action plan to internationalize to Kashmir dispute to expose the Modi regime's fascist.
They also condemned the recent use of cluster ammunition against the civilian people by Indian forces and said the injustice and aggression should immediately be stopped in held Kashmir. They expressed their determination to support the Kashmiri brethren. At the end the effigy of Indian Prime Minister Nirender Modi was also burnt by the participants to show deep hatred against him on his illegal and unconstitutional act regarding annexation of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
