Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari Saturday appealed to the Pakistani diaspora to observe August 15 as 'Black Day' by holding protests outside Indian embassies and consulates in their respective countries to show solidarity with the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Zulfi Bukhari held a press conference along with Special Assistant for National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza and announced to spend August 14 in solidarity with the Kashmiris. Bukhari said it is moral obligation of all to speak up for the Kashmiri brothers and sisters, who are living in difficult circumstances under the Nazi like regime of Narendra Modi. He said he himself will participate in protest demonstration in front of Indian High Commission in London.
Dr Zafar Mirza said that the overseas Pakistanis can also become part of Sehat Sahulat Programme by paying premium, adding the health card will cover the treatment of all diseases.
He said all the diseases for which a patient needs to be admitted to a hospital will be treated under this health cover with the expenditures up to Rs720,000 a year.
Updating media persons about the PTI government's Sehat Sahulat Programme, Mirza said the facility of Sehat Insaf Card has been provided to the needy in forty-three districts of the country. Bukhari said Prime Minister Imran Khan considers overseas Pakistanis as special individuals as they leave their families to earn livelihood, and the government is taking measures to facilitate them.
