The qualifier round for the team Pakistan to participate in world's largest Five-a-Side football tournament - F5WC will begin in Peshawar from August 25, 2019. The matches would also be held in Quetta, Mirpur Azad Kashmir, Islamabad, Lahore, and finally concludes in Karachi on September 22, 2019.
This battle between 250+ teams across the country is a bid to find one team that will represent Pakistan against 31 other countries like USA, Brazil, India, France and Japan at the finals in Cape Town, South Africa in November. F5WC Pakistan gives aspiring footballers from Karachi to Kashmir a chance to become Team Pakistan and aims to provide anyone and everyone the opportunity to participate in a world-class international football experience, with the chance to earn the ultimate privilege and opportunity of representing Pakistan on an international stage.
The 2019 edition of the F5WC tournament is being held across 500 cities in 32 countries where players have been playing for the right to represent their country at the F5WC World Finals.
This year in Pakistan F5WC has partnered with Origo Limited to organize the complete tournament with their digital and advertising partner Ailaan Advertising. Syed Haris Ali Qandhari, Director of Origo Limited said that this tournament will be the most followed football event of 2019 with a commitment to provide great opportunities for the local talent both nationally and internationally.
