The District Health Officer Tharparkar Dr Irshad Ahmed Memon has informed that on directives of the Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Dr Shahzad Tahir Thaheem Health Department Tharparkar and Municipal Committees have started aggressive anti-malaria and anti-dengue drive in the District. In the first phase mosquito larvacidal activity has been started in water stagnant areas. Fumigation drive is being carried out in the District starting from Mithi town to other urban pockets. People have been asked to maintain cleanliness around their residential areas. They must use mosquito nets and repellents while sleeping. In case of suffering from fever they should visit nearest malaria and dengue testing centres in government hospitals.
