Pakistan Business Forum to organise third Family Expo and National Talent Award (FENTA) on 26th and 27th October 2019 at Karachi Expo Centre. Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club on Saturday, Irfan Allahwala, General Secretary, and Syed Shakil Hashmi, President, PBF, informed that the two-day event aimed at providing opportunities to the people of Karachi to shopping and enjoying with families.
All income generated from the event would be donated to Baithak School Network (Society for Education Works) and Aagosh Home (Orphan Care & Development Centre). They informed that Baithak Schools were currently operating 138 schools for underprivileged student with over 14,000 enrollments across Pakistan and had Alumni of over 450,000 whereas there were 12 Aghosh Homes around the country having over 1,000 orphans taking care of. Those both organisations worked for a cause-to promote education and induct social values for betterment of individuals to flourish a healthy society, they added.
They informed that first and second FENTA were held in 2014 and 2017 draw hundreds of thousands of visitors of all ages. Dozens of exhibitors from lifestyle products sectors including kids products, education, technology, fashion, consumer goods will participate in the event. Prominent businessmen and notable personalities will also attend the event.
Children of Baithak Schools Network and other educational institutions will present their activities at the show and the expected footfall will be around 200,000 visitors during the two days, they added. Special awards will be distributed to acknowledge the services of prominent businessmen, sports and media personalities, philanthropists, social workers in recognition of their contributions to the society. Some of the previous exhibitors were Shield Corporation, Martin Dow Pharmaceuticals, Chase up, Quice, K&N, Naurus, Meezan bank, First paramount Modarba, urban Sole etc.
