Special Assistant to the prime minister, Naeem-ul-Haq on Sunday contradicted the media reports as rumours about resignation of Nadeem Afzal Chan, the spokesperson for the prime minister, and replacing him with Fawad Chaudhry.
"Recent rumours about the resignation of Nadeem Afzal Chan and the appointment of Fawad Ch [Chaudhry] as spokesperson are totally false and mischievous", Naeem-ul-Haq stated in a tweet. He further stated: "PTIs opponents frequently indulge in disinformation campaign designed to create rift within the party. We are fully aware of this".
