The National Textile University (NTU) and Asian Institute of Industrial Air (AIIA) Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide the latest facility of "Compressed Air Engineering" to the National Textile University by Asian Institute.
Rector, NTU, Professor Dr Tanvir Hussain after signing the MoU told the participants of the ceremony that under this agreement the AIIA would supply the sophisticated and latest machinery and other instruments of international standard brand to the NTU while the Rasitgar Group will extend help for the installation of this modern machinery and equipment in the National Textile University.
He said that the NTU Lab will provide research education and incentives for the utilisation of Lab Compressor while AIIA would provide monetary assistance for the "Practicable Research" to Textile Sector in Pakistan.
He expressed confidence that the Pakistan Textile Sector would surely avail the benefits of this latest facility of compressed air engineering.
Prominent among those who attended this ceremony include: Dr Yasir Nawab, Dean, Engineering Technology NTU, Dr Arshad Ali, former Director General Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Chief Executive, Asian Institute of Industrial Air, Imtiaz Rasitgar, Zufiqar Rasitgar and others. At the end of the ceremony, NTU Rector, Dr Tavir Hussain, expressed his thanks to participants of the MoU signing ceremony.
