KARACHI: Polling has begun for by-elections in six constituencies of the National Assembly and four in the Provincial Assemblies including Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari and Kasur for the NA seats and in Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan, Attock and Mianwali for PA seats, according to the media on Saturday.
According to media reports, polling is underway for six constituencies in the National Assembly and four in the Provincial Assembly.
Polling has begun in NA-09 (Mardan-I), NA-140 (Kasur-III), NA-168 (Vehari-II), NA 148 (Multan-I), NA-149 (Multan-II), NA-195 (Rahim Yar Khan-IV), PS-53 (Tando Muhammad Khan-cum-Hyderabad (Old Hyderabad XI)) PS-57 (Badin-I (Old Badin-III)), PP-18 (Attock-IV) and PP-44 (Mianwali-II).
The media reported around 178 polling stations have been set up for around 1,95,000 voters.
The polls started at 8am today and will end at 5pm.
