KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday issued notice to Secretary Religious Affairs & Hajj Director for 20 February and sought reply from them on next hearing on a plea against new Hajj policy of the federal government.
The court heard the plea filed by Rao Nasir against the new Hajj Policy of the federal government and issued notice to the authorities concerned.
The petitioner stated that Hajj expenses had increased in new Hajj Policy of the government.
‘’The government is trying to deprive people of Hajj by increasing unnecessary expenses for Hajj,” he stated in the plea.
The petitioner requested the court to reduce the Hajj expenses by rejecting the new Hajj policy.
