By-elections polling concludes, counting begins
KARACHI: Polling for by-elections in six constituencies of the National Assembly and four in the Provincial Assemblies has concluded and counting has begun, according to the media on Saturday.
However, people in polling stations can still cast their votes.
Ealrier, polling began in constituencies of Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari and Kasur for the NA seats and in Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan, Attock and Mianwali for PA seats, according to the media on Saturday.
According to media reports, polling is underway for six constituencies in the National Assembly and four in the Provincial Assembly.
Polling has begun in NA-09 (Mardan-I), NA-140 (Kasur-III), NA-168 (Vehari-II), NA 148 (Multan-I), NA-149 (Multan-II), NA-195 (Rahim Yar Khan-IV), PS-53 (Tando Muhammad Khan-cum-Hyderabad (Old Hyderabad XI)) PS-57 (Badin-I (Old Badin-III)), PP-18 (Attock-IV) and PP-44 (Mianwali-II).
The media reported around 178 polling stations have been set up for around 1,95,000 voters.
The polls started at 8am today and will ended at around 5pm.
