OPPO declared number one selling smart phone in Pakistan

OPPO, a leading global smart phone brand, was declared number one in sales volume in the Pakistani market in the months of June and July of 2019 by Canalys, a leading global technology and smart phone market analyst firm.

While addressing the press, the OPPO Director Marketing said that OPPO has continued their success with the achievement of a major milestone, becoming number one in the Pakistani market.

According to the report released by Canalys, Pakistan's smart phone shipments for the month of July were at 0.7 Million units. OPPO's dominance was instated by the highest vendor share at 36 per cent across Pakistan. As a result OPPO led the way with a staggering market share of 25 percent, with Samsung playing catch up at 19 percent.The impact of recent devaluation of the rupee was seen on the smart phone market, as the sale of smart phone declined by 400,000 units in recent months, said OPPO Director Marketing Ali Kakvi.

"The devaluation made import of these devises expensive, but OPPO absorbed the impact by not increasing the prices of its products and also they did not make any compromise on its quality," he said while briefing the newsmen about OPPO's recent achievement of becoming best seller in the Pakistani market.
