Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to represent the nation with bravery and should raise Kashmir issue and release of Afia Siddiqui in the United States and brought her back to the country. Talking to media in Bannu, Siraj-ul-Haq said that US President Donald Trump can never become sincere to Pakistan. Besides, the provincial Ameer, JI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Deputy Chief JI, former Senator Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, District Ameer, Ajmal Khan, Mohammad Jalal Shah advocate, Haji Yousaf Khan Menakhel, Dr Nasir Khan and other party activists were also present on the occasion.
Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that October march is the decision of only JUI-F itself. He said that the Prime Minister have announced that he will not only provide container rather tea and water also to those who will stage march or sit-in in Islamabad. So there will be no concern in the matter regarding the protest of JUI-F in the federal capital. He said that PML-N and PPP have already hinted at participation in the protest, therefore, these two political parties are also sufficient.
He said that the atrocities of Indian security forces against Kashmiris have created fears that the curfew will be followed by the genocide that has already been feared by Ali Gilani in his letter.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that the world community itself had attributed Kashmir to a mass grave and now it had also came in the limelight that the Indian Occupied Kashmir is not the only target, rather the whole Indian leadership is talking to holding talks on the Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). He said that the failure of the struggle can endanger the geography of Pakistan.
He said that Kashmir is the matter of life and death for Pakistan, adding that JI is creating awareness that Kashmir is geographical, economic and ideological jugular vein of Pakistan.
He said that JI is reiterating that instead of lip services, Pakistan should take practical steps. He said that JI has no confidence in the mediation of Donald Trump over Kashmir.
The JI leader urged all political leaders to play their role in the resolution of the issue of Kashmir. He said that today is 45th consecutive day of curfew in Kashmir, but no one has taken any step for lifting of the curfew.
