The Met Office on Saturday warned the citizens against a 'moderate' heat wave spell to continue for the next three days in Karachi and other parts of Sindh, forecasting temperature may scale up to 41 degree Celsius. Scorching weather is likely to persist over the metropolis and other parts of Sindh for the next three days to maximum mercury level of 41 degrees Celsius as low pressure grips the North Arabian Sea.

A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist till today (Sunday). Seasonal low lies over Northwest Balochistan. Weak monsoon currents are also penetrating in upper parts of the country.
In the next 24 hours: Hot and humid weather is expected in the most parts of the country. However, rain-wind-thunderstorm may strike Gujranwala and Lahore Divisions, besides Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
