Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar met Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, here Saturday and discussed important issues including situation in the province of Punjab. Both also shared views on matters of mutual interest besides the Chunian incident and dengue situation in the province, sources said.
The sources claimed that the CM Usman Buzdar who visited Chunian Friday apprised the Governor about progress made in the case. Police had added section 7 of Anti-Terrorism Act to the cases that would be tried by special court. Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) had already started collecting DNA profiles of the suspects. It may be added that the CM Usman Buzdar had already announced Rs five million head money in the murder case of three minor children in Chunian. He also announced establishment of a child protection centre in Kasur to prevent any such incident in future.
The Governor felicitated CM Buzdar over performance of Umrah. Views were also exchanged on important issues concerning the province of Punjab, the sources added.
