The P@SHA ICT AWARDS are the premier event of the industry that showcases the best technology talent that Pakistan has to offer, ranging from Academia, R&D and Startups to large established companies. The awards provide a platform for these companies to be recognized for their work within Pakistan and then to go to the international forum of APICTA and compete with the best talent from 15 other regional countries.
Our companies have always won top positions in previous APICTA Awards and this is a testament to the talent we have in Pakistan and the potential of these companies to expand outside our borders. Moving forward the technology sector needs to be given top priority by the Federal and Provincial Governments and supported in such a way that it becomes the engine off our economic growth, both locally and for our exports. Pakistan needs to catch up in a lot of areas and the tech sector is one of the quickest ways to leapfrog this race for our economic survival.
