Speakers on Wednesday called for strengthening people-to-people contact between members of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) to turn what they dubbed the 'fragile organisation' into vibrant one. They were speaking at a ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary (1969-2019) of the OIC, which was organised by 'The OIC Association of Pakistan'.

He also referred to the conflicts in many Muslim countries where bilateral ties are strained; however people have no animosity for each other.
He also called Hajj congregation the 'United Nations of Muslim World' and said this offered an ideal occasion for all Muslims to forge unity in their ranks.
