The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) president Malik Muhammad Ashraf has said all available resources would be mobilised for the redressing of problems being confronted by the exporters and manufacturers of export hub.
While talking to the media here on Sunday, he said strenuous efforts would be made for the betterment of the local business community as well as special efforts would be made for the promotion of women entrepreneurship in this export hub.
In order to facilitate the business community, research and development wing of SCCI would soon be made more vibrant for the larger interest of the business community of the area, he revealed. Undoubtedly the business men were confronting with multiple problems but the business community of this export-oriented city will play its tremendous role for enhancing export volume he said.
The SCCI chief highlighting his future policies said, adequate efforts would be made for developing cordial relations with the businesses of Eastern Europe, Western Europe, America, South America, Far East and South East countries for business activities and to introduce Pakistani products as well as for the exchange of trade delegations.
He said we are endeavouring to constitute a separate wing within SCCI for resolving big and small issues confronting by the local business community on top priority basis adding that in this regard SCCI will constitute a special team for handling Federal, Provincial and district level issues and the team will be given a task. It is encouraging that prime minister is very keen to enhance export volume and we will support and extend our full cooperation to prime minister in this regard.
it is very unfortunate that exporters engaged with different cottage industries were struggling for their due rights since long without government support and government departments because the exporters and manufacturers of the area were totally ignored by the every government due to unknown reasons. The SCCI president was confident that government will take immediate steps to facilitate the exporter community enabling it play its instrumental role in bringing big boom in exports of the country. The SCCI president further stated that strenuous efforts would be made for achieving the fix targets with the active support of the business community of the area.
